Corewell Health: The new name for Beaumont. Here to make health better.

The Beaumont Schools of Allied Health 100-Hour: Oncology and Hospital Massage class application packet may be requested by email (karen.armstrong@corewellhealth.org) or by phone ( 248-551-9995).

The following must be received before acceptance into the class:

  • Completed application
  • Official, current transcript from massage therapy school or nursing school
  • Three letters of professional reference; only forms from the Application Packet are acceptable
  • $40 non-refundable application fee
  • Proof of professional liability insurance
  • Complete health screening results

Health Screening Information

All students must successfully pass a health screening. This can be performed through your own physician, local county/government health department, or through specific Beaumont Urgent Care locations (ask for details) for a fee. The requirements are as follows:

  • Titers (quantitative result and range) for Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella, and Mumps (vaccination ONLY if titer is low)
  • TB test (current year; skin results in MMs, QFT blood test acceptable)
  • Influenza vaccine (current year)
  • Tdap (tetanus with diphtheria and pertussis) vaccination within the last 10 years
  • 9-panel drug screen (current year)
  • Covid-19 vaccine (full vaccination)

Program Policies

Students must comply with all hospital, department and school policies. A student handbook and overview of expectations will be provided before the start of class.
